Im honked off that the wimps of Pasadena allowed the NFL to push them around. Some bending and giving is fine but NEW YEARS DAY is January 1:rant

I love NCAA football, but the NFL would crush... CRUSH college football if they tried to go head to head today. It happens every time they play at the same time. It's a fact that the NCAA knows, so they wisely choose not to try on 1-1-12.

Certain pockets would watch, but overall, the NFL ratings would eclipse the Rose Bowl.

I will add that the NFL should have done the classy thing and played their games yesterday like they did last week. January 1st isn't what it used to be with all the bowls spread out on different days, but it's still January 1st, and that should mean college football and the Rose Bowl.

Don't complain. They seem to be moving all the big bowl games to cable/satellite, and I don't get cable/satellite.

I would enjoy a full day of football—especially in the old days before the BCS, when all the best games were on New Year’s Day. This year, instead of watching the big games, I’ll have to watch Judge Judy. Thankfully, I enjoy Judge Judy.
