Past Mistakes

When we repent of our sin, do we still have to worry about our past mistakes?

No, we are forgiven. A criminal will still have to finish his prison term, but the Lord will come into his life and bring him peace and contentment.

Whenever I think of past mistakes, and I've racked up plenty in 50 years, I am always reminded of a verse that is one of my "life's verses":

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

If by "still have to worry about" you mean "still have to suffer the consequences of", the answer is yes. If a school bus driver drives drunk and kills ten kids, he's always capable of repentence and recieving the grace of God, but I still want his license taken away and for him to do prison time.
