To get back to what you said. No our mayor did not try to get sermons censored. That just isn't true. The way "Christian" pastors acted in Houston during this election was terrible. Just hate filled bigotry. Calling on murdering LGBT people from multiple churches.

Now we have "christians" following women and children with guns and masks in Irving.

Today we have some being terrorists in planned parenthood.

Are Christian fundamentalists trying to emulate Muslims in being evil violent fanatics?

In any situation throughout history there have been those attempting to control other's lives. As a Christian I know of nothing in the word of God that would in any way suggest murdering others. We're to judge ourselves, and allow God to judge those without. Hopefully the following scripture will give you better insight to this.
1Co 5:11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
1Co 5:12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
1Co 5:13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person (The one called a brother).

Such a judgment was issued by Paul against the church in Corinth
1Co 5:1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.
1Co 5:5 To deliver such an one (a brother in Christ) unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

Later Paul had determined the Christian judged was to be forgiven and brought back into their fellowship.
2Co 2:6 Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many.
2Co 2:7 So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.
2Co 2:8 Wherefore I beseech you that ye would confirm your love toward him.

Always with insults and irrational commentary. Calling anyone who thinks their insults and bullying wrong PC crybabies. The glorification of bullying and being plain insulting and rude. Endless protests about everything. People protesting Mosques and Hindu temples. I mean if Muslims protested a Baptist church there would be near riots from angry Christians, but no if they do it is is ok.

Fights over Christmas. Every year the war on the war on Christmas starts earlier. This year no snowflakes on a coffee cup. Oh my how childish.

Endless sex scandals of abuse.

This week two planned parenthood clinics were burned, and now a terrorist. The response. Jokes and calling him a hero. How how sad is U.S. Christian culture.

People like Donald Trump or Mike Huckabee or any of the other candidates who are just pushing the lowest of the low common denominator in this election.

Just the irrational anger and hate that seems to pervade the Christian view of the world. The persecution complex. It is just beyond silly anymore.

It is as if Christians and Muslims want the world to end and worship death.

The is no love at all in U.S. Christianity. Those who have virtue and morality are unwilling or unable to grab the reigns and tell the crazies to shut up. The adults no longer control the Christian narrative. The crazies do. That is very sad. It is sad for all of us.

My distaste isn't for who act in the manner of a Christian. It is those who claim to be Christian while espousing hate, violence, paranoia and irrational thinking. I am endlessly frustrated that these people are highjacking our political process, being cheered on by so many.

Praising terrorism is as insane and evil for a Christian as it is for a Muslim. Christianity is falling into a new dark age. Well U.S. Protestantism more specifically. The Catholic just is slowly turning more progressive and tolerant. Those who promote positivist like Osteen and the Best life now guy tend to not touch politics.

This isn't a joke. People are being murdered. If there needs to be a Muslim radical database there needs to be a Christian radical database. Death worship has gotten out of hand. We need sane adults take over Protestantism in the U.S. Franklin Graham, Mike Huckabee....... are not good people.

You are a guest here so I understand you have not agreed to follow our terms of service, however that also means we do not have to allow you to post everything you want to post either. You have not declared Christianity to be false but you have certainly made your point of putting us down. In the post I deleted you also expressed your disagreement with an administrators actions, which we do not allow to be done in public forums.
