As this just got brought up in another thread a little while ago I was just wondering, what are everybody's thoughts on this organization? Although I personally love animals and want them treated fairly I think they're all off their rockers but that's just in my own personal opinion. I could never be a vegan anyways because I've always been a meat and potatoes type of gal. :wink

I'm not against vegans, but I don't agree with everything they stand for in their radical theories. A vegan diet is very healthy, but God did give to help supply our need.

Huh?? What did you mean by your last sentence? :confused

A vegan diet is eating healthy foods like fresh fruits and fresh vegetables without any chemical additives or preservatives like that of Genesis 1:29.

Concerning the eating of meat we turn to Genesis 9:3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

But, there are conditions God gave us concerning the meat we eat, Genesis 9:4 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat

Yeah I understand that much but isn't that last part underneath the old covenant?

Sure,
I like eating tasty animals. Beef, pork, poultry, sheep, goats, deer, lions, tigers, and bears oh my!

In Leviticus chapter 11 God told Moses and Aaron what animals were or were not allowed to be eaten. I would consider this as being under the old covenant, but yet under the new covenant also when you read 1 Timothy 4:4, 5. The laws governing the eating of clean and unclean animals have never changed, but yet these were given to the Jews, especially the Kosher parts of the law and IMO doesn't restrict the Gentile what to eat that is considered good to eat.

I forgot to mention that I thought that you would stumble a crossed this thread. :lol

True, and really it's for our own protection. Actually, any law of God's is probably for our own good and every parent has rules to follow. :yes

Correct. This is another group of Left-Liberal Extremists who use all kinds of dubious tactics to get their message across.

There is absolutely no question that all animals must be treated humanely, and that cruelty to animals is evil. But that should be the primary focus of any group trying to protect animals from mistreatment.

Oh yeah and I also wanted to point out the fact that if this forum didn't have rules it wouldn't be running as smoothly as it is right now. :)
