This seems to be common among WOF types. It tends to be used as some sort of "abracadabra" phrase to bless finances, or to cast out a cold. There's nothing in scripture that says to claim the blood of Christ. Rather, it says:
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Revelation 12:10-11We overcome the accuser by the blood of the lamb. Compare to Romans 8:1. Look at my avatar image. "No condemnation". The lambs blood in exodus caused the angel of death to pass over all the houses. It saved them. Those who rejected the blood did not get saved.
Do you mean to ask for the blood of Jesus to cover things from day to day? What does it mean to plead the blood of Jesus? Is such biblical? Why do the same people have to repeat the same ritual maybe the next day? Does the pleading made the previous day expire? Someone asked, though I didnt bother to answer

Yea - and not just that
You're right it does.Yes.
Is your avatar an elephant, or a whale with a curly tail looking to the right, and it's fin to the right? The whale looks much happier than the elephant.
I'm just reading through a word search of blood on my bible app and the verses in the new testament seem to suggest that the blood of Jesus is for the covering of sin(s)Yea - and not just that

So here is what Jesus says:
Mat 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
And this is what it Paul says:
Col 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Then further down:
1Jn 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
So the blood seems to just cover sins, is that what you're reading?
YosefHayim, I am like wired on drinking 8 red bulls and being up for 23 hours straight and your post is giving me a wake up rush. His blood covers us, thus the accuser has lost: they overcame the accuser of our brethren by the blood of the Lamb (Rev 12:10-11).
How so?YosefHayim, I am like wired on drinking 8 red bulls and being up for 23 hours straight and your post is giving me a wake up rush.
It's ok if I have a heart attack so long as my last thoughts are of my daughter then I'll die happy. How so?
Just don't have a heart attack. At least you haven't been up for 8 hours on 23 red bulls.
