Please just answer the poll question today and save replies for tomorrow. I'd rather not have your answer persuaded in any way by the results. Thankyou.

God said, I believe it, therefore it's true.

This is secular humanism. They will say "No absolutes, you have your truth, I have mine and they are both true because we want them to be." But nothing could be further from the truth. You will see this type of thinking to try to justify acceptance of sin in the Church. You will also see this kind of thinking in the minds of those who try to justify the ecumenical movement. None of these people can justify their position in the face of all Scripture, even though the Bible is infalible and does not contradict itself. So they take some of the scripture and apply their false definitions, and try to play the role of the potter in making a god to their specification of acceptance, in effect, they create an idol from their fleshly desires and worship it as the true God. If your god contradicts their god, it makes no difference to them.

God said it, Therefore it's true, I just so happen to believe it

Whether or not you believe it to be true does not change the fact that it is truth. The truth will still be truth reguardless of your opinion. This is rational thinking, and a correct understanding.

Peace
