Atonement, that's such an epic church. ;)

Greetings to you deep'n'dark

I'm not really sure what you mean by "epic church" lol

'The Met' is an amazing Church, the people there are amazing; and hey and they give out free coffee and donuts (hey that's a plus) :thumbsup But the most important thing, the Word of God is taught in a way that the spirit can really be fed. You may walk in hurt, depressed, overwhelmed etc. but when you leave you are left having peace and joy. I just moved to Houston, TX two years ago and I found this Church right around the corner of my house.. God had me find this home for a reason. It works out for everything according to His purpose and will.. Praise be to God, and Jesus the Lord of Heaven and Earth!

I meant it looks awesome, I also like our local church, should go and visit it at some point. :)

North at the moment for work. Most of my time has been spent the north but also Christchurch and Dunedin. Been thinking of going back over to Australia to live for a while. Was over there for about 5 years having a good time.

Okay, ty.

I guess I was asking whether the building in your photo was NI or SI.

I have a friend in Christchurch, SI.

This thread is a cool idea. Here is my church. I attend a couple of churches, this is just one.

Thanks for mentioning that many of us attend worship service at more than one church, from time to time. This is a Baptist church I sometimes attend - even though I'm Methodist- because a good friend, and awesome musician, is music director there. I love supporting him, and like the passionate services. Just as an aside, there aren't really that much difference between Baptists and Methodists. When I read the book "A River Runs Through it" I came across this wonderful line "a Methodist is a Baptist who can read."

Since this picture is from the group's page on facebook--in other words, anyone with a facebook account and who finds the page can view it anyway--and there's no one in it, I decided there's probably nothing wrong with sharing it here.

Those paintings in the background were moved to the back of the room more recently, and replaced with different decor. I don't have a good picture of outside the building.

So, yeah, the inside of my Bible study group. :)

I guess you are well familiar with this place which for you is depicted from an unfamiliar angle...

Blessings.

I wanted to post a pic of my church but I don't have one and can't find on on the net of it. :(
I'll be back with a pic of it soon. A day or two, perhaps even sunday/

Edward:

Great, but I guess we won't worry too much if you concentrate on the 'living stones' rather than on the appearance of the bricks and mortar...:)

Blessings.
