Hey, its the south; even I say y'all and love my mama.
Now...today, of course, was mother's day. I didn't know what to get, so I wrote a letter to my mama. She read it and looooved it. I mean, she at least truly appreciated it. I think AirDancer was the one who initially posted the letter idea (many, many thanks, btw).
This was awesome. Beats some of my initial gift ideas, that's for sure. The parents and I had a good day today, actually...a good weekend. We're...functioning as a family, at long last. Actually...this could easily have --never-- happened. Its Christ's work in our lives that's making all 3 of us different, in most excellent ways.
So, I'm clearly thankful for my mama, on mother's day. And...
...well, I told my parents about the lil visit from the police. My dad said if my probation officer tries to put me in jail, he'll shell out the $$$$ and get me the attorney (again). I sho nuff hope it never happens, but...yeah...its good to hear that, so now I can feel secure, you know? I mean, yes; technically, its a misdemeanor (class A, thank you very much), but they have some messed up laws down here, y'all. 3 years for a misdemeanor? No wonder our prisons are over-crowded!
I'm rambling. Point is...I'm thankful for my mother AND my father, at long last. The Lord is good to all 3 of us.
