Hi Quantril. I have admitted to being a Christian in my beliefs about two or three months ago. I was a believer in A God before that but I didn’t believe in some stuff in the Old Testament. Like to which extent the cananites where supposed to be exterminated and a few other things.
I was brought up as a non religious Muslim. My mom is a Christian but my dad was a non religious Muslim. My dad died years ago.
I have been diagnosed 15 years ago as being psychotic, then schizophrenic, then with schizoaffective disorder( a mixture of schizophrenia and bipolar).
Also I apologise since I had some wine prior to writing this message.
All I can say is that I hope that my sins are not wilful.
Our faith in Christ is our beginning. It solidifies our eternal life. God now becomes an active agent in your life, in your very person as your spirit is now born of Him.
Thus with all you have been now diagnosed with, know that that may be true of your physical person but is not true of your born-again spirit. And, as you now walk with God, that Spirit will help you with these ailments.
Hi brothers and sisters. I have pretty much just joined the forum. I feel an urgent need to ask for you to say a prayer/s for me. I am committing serious sins and I am finding it hard to stop it. I am praying for myself to stop it and I am maybe a bit better than in the past but some of the sin s are still present.
Dear brother or sister I feel for you and pray that God may show you a better way! He knows what to do.
Lean on Him and not to your own strength!
Start thanking and praising God because victory is already yours!
Remember God wants to help you through cooperation.
You must make decisions to stop certain things that are of bad influence.
He will definitely help you!
Pray this for yourself over and over again;
For this reason [grasping the greatness of this plan by which Jews and Gentiles are joined together in Christ] I bow my knees [in reverence] before the Father [of our Lord Jesus Christ], from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name [God—the first and ultimate Father]. May He grant you out of the riches of His glory, to be strengthened and spiritually energized with power through His Spirit in your inner self, [indwelling your innermost being and personality], so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through your faith. And may you, having been [deeply] rooted and [securely] grounded in love, be fully capable of comprehending with all the saints (God’s people) the width and length and height and depth of His love [fully experiencing that amazing, endless love]; and [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself]. Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.
