2 months ago, I slipped up. I didn't violate my probation, but I'm still scared. OK...2 months and 1 week ago. I've seen my PO since then and everything went well. I'm just hoping and praying this resolves w/o ***more*** (self-inflicted) problems.

To complicate things, my parents are going out of town on saturday thru Tuesday, so I'm nervous. If I were to get arrested or whatever, I'd have to call...somebody. No money of my own. No way to bond out.

I don't even think that I broke the law. Its a weird situation. I'm hoping and praying that I didn't break the law and that I'm just being a lil bit...fearful (paranoid?). But I did slip up. Part of this is probably a guilty conscience. I've prayed for forgiveness repeatedly, and also for God's protection. I just...wasn't thinking.

Please pray. I know what jail is like, and I sho nuff don't want to go there, especially for an extended stay. I have school going on, I have my parents to think about...ugh.

Please pray. I know that when you do bad things, bad things happen. I just...wasn't thinking. Like I said, its not a violation of probation and it may not even be illegal (I don't think it is). I haven't heard anything about it since it happened/I did it, 2 months and 1 week ago.

Ugh. Please pray :-)

what makes you think you violated your probation ? probation is easy to do just do as they say. do not hang around with any body who is on probation . no drugs no alcohol and what ever stipulation there is of your probation. how long are you on probation ? most cases is you had violated your p/o would have told you so. not all violations send you directly to jail.

I didn't violate my probation. Its to embarrassing for me to talk about, but...I slipped up. Or I think I did. I'm hoping I didn't, not really. I don't drink, do drugs, hang out w/ the wrong crowd, all that.

I know probation is easy, especially mine (1st offense misdemeanor). I'm just...nervous...

Dear Brother CE, of course I will pray for you. There are many things we don’t do for conscience sake, and of course even to the point of your feared consequence.

God doesn’t change, and we read in:
Rom 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
Rom 13:2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: . . .
Rom 13:4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. . . .
Rom 13:5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

Could we be righteous, not obey the rules, and still suffer for it? Yes.
The law of the land governing Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego demanded obedience under King Nebuchadnezzar, and infractions brought condemnation even from the populace. The following law prohibited praying to God which Daniel did. What happened to Daniel? He was cast to the lions.
Dan 6:7 All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.

What of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego? Dan 3:20 And he (Nebuchadnezzar) commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.
BUT
Dan 3:25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. Jesus was with them in the fire.

As God’s son, never be afraid to go to His throne of grace in your time of need, and do not fear He will not hear you. In other words, do not allow your conscience deny you to boldly go into the presence of Him who gave His Son Jesus for us.
Blessings CE in Jesus’ name. :wave2

Just because you're paranoid doesnt mean they're not really out to get you. You're doing good to be cautious and to ask for your Brothers & Sisters to pray for you.

When you accepted Jesus into your life, you set the world against you. They'll lock you up if they can, just to rattle your faith. Be strong g Brother and keep praying...

I will too.

Ya, seriously. You would be in jail already. what everyone said.

it being a misdemeanor the odds of you going to jail is very slim . in fact if any thing. you would be hauled into court for violation . cost you lots of Dollars . i worked with a man once that was on probation felony charge possession of meth. they found a paper in his house that had residue of meth on it. he messed up on his probation the fined him again .he had pay for his probation plus his drug classes . .

I'm praying and hoping nothing comes of it. Stupid, sinful slip up. I'm thinking I'll be OK...I'm a bit over 2 months in since the...mistake...and nothing has happened. I recently saw my probation officer and there were no problems there.

I think you are being paranoid.
Remember, you are forgiven.
