[__ Prayer __] Prayer for a Friend....more than a Freind!

I start w/ saying that I'm not the greatest Christian in the world....I'm sure I'm the least...no really.

I'd like to ask a prayer from Christians on this forum for a friend.

My friends wife has Pompe disease http://www.pompe.com/en/patients/about.aspx?gclid=CMG-mqeO1q4CFYgBRQodOkSyeA.

My friend has also been out of a job for months.

I pray all the time of course about things in my life.

Now the last times I have broke down and actually cried (in tears) during prayer was many years ago for my wife to get saved. That happened twenty years ago and she came to Christ in 1992 one year after I did. And praying for my son in the mid nineties. My son came to Christ at the age of 4 years old. (I know it is really unheard of, but God has a different plan than we do!!! )

Tonight as I prayed about my friend...the tears started flowing. Now I don't usually divulge my dealings w/ God, but this is important. My friend is searching. I know from post on other forum. I cried and asked God to hear my prayers from afar to heal my friends wife or at least slow it and give her a comfortable life for their kids. They have a huge heart. They adopted 2 children. Pray for them too please.

Now I need others to pray for my friends wife (Deb) and please pray for my friend to get a job. The next part of my story.... he has been w/o a job for months dealing w/ this. Please pray FERVENTLY for them!

As my eyes poured out to God, I prayed that He would show them salvation! I prayed that salvation would FLOW through their house and show them that only GOD could make this happen.

Now being that I am not exactly where I should be w/ God, I will also say that God has a plan and purpose for everything and that he MAY not answer this prayer. He may have different plans. In any case may my friend SEE what God has in store....and show him the path he needs to take to see God's glory.

In all of this may God be glorified!

In all of this may my friend (Snoopy's Friend) be lifted up and see God's purpose in hs life.


May my friend see God! for what he is.

Hi there Snoopy, God has blessed your heart so much to feel such outpouring for your friends. Your prayer is very significant coz in that prayer God's hand is moving.
We pray that your friend will recover from that disease and that God will provide financially for that. We also pray that they will be strong during this trial and all the more they will hold to the One who is able to do everything possible which is alone God Almighty. We also pray for determination and diligence in finding job and that they will not give up or lose hope coz God is an ever real provider of everything. May in this circumstance God will be glorify in their life. In Jesus Christ Name , Amen.

Got news yesterday? that my friend got a really good job in the same field he was in! Praise God!!

Now for continued prayer that they can get back to life as they know it....BUT also continue to pray for his wife Deb that her Pompe disease and symptoms would reside!

Not sure reside is the right word, never said I was smart.

I think the key to your success here was your prayer for others. When you ask God to aid you first you must aid someone else or pray for someone else. And then your prayers will be answered. Im saying that in order for your prayer to be answered you first have to act as the answer to another persons prayers.
