[__ Prayer __] Prayer request and praise of God

During the service yesterday, I felt a desire to reach out to youth organizations to help answer any questions they have about God and the Christian faith in general. I wasn't sure if it was from God so I prayed about it with a friend.

When I got home and told my fiance about it over Skype, she just smiled then said "we were talking about you in junior church today and about how you like to answer questions and they've asked if I can get you to come over and answer some of theirs"

I'm going over to my fiances church in 2 weeks to help discuss creation vs evolution so hopefully this will be a good introduction for me to them. I'm also meeting the vicar there this week to discuss doing somethings within the church.

So I'd like to offer praise to God for answering this prayer and ask for more prayers that I can be of help to the people over there, that it goes well, that I can learn things myself and that he will give me more opportunities.
 
Dear Father, please continue to open doors and make the way straight as to what You would have this brother do to glorify You. Let him rest in Your leading, and give him the faith to go forward giving out Your word as You would have him. Thank You Father and I ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

It really sounds like God is leading you here and all you can do is follow. He's obviously prepared you for a new youth ministry as well, as it sounds.


For me the LAST thing I ever thought I would be doing maybe 10 years ago was teaching a Sunday School Class to children, yet God led me there and I have been doing just that for 3 years now with 10 and 11 years olds. And, I strongly believe He gives us the tools and helps us to create discussions and a lot of sharing from the children, as He has for me. A willing heart to follow His lead was really all it took on my part.
 
Unfortunately due to the weather I wasn't able to get there. So I've arranged to go in 2 weeks and they've brainstormed a list of questions and topics they'd like to discuss. My fiance is bringing it tomorrow. I'm also leading our church house group next Tuesday :)

Prayers are with you, Grazer ... and songs of praise that you've listened as our Lord has spoken to you. All things are possible for Him; and He listens to our prayers and answers them in accordance to His will.

Not yet, should see them today or tomorrow which gives me 2 weeks to outline some answers and a way of presenting them :)

That's a wonderful list, Grazer; I laughed aloud when I read the KFC question!

Kids have a grand way of getting to the heart of matters.

What a marvelous opportunity you have before you to share the love our Lord God has for us with these teens!

Prayers continue for you in your endeavor.
