I have a personal prayer request about an internal battle that has been going on inside me for a long time now. It's not something I can share directly here because it's too personal. Right now my impression is that the Lord needs to speak to me through others...so I ask for your prayer and that you let me know if the Spirit speaks to you.
Hi Tristan. Not being sure the extent you believe others represent God's voice, I'm certain God uses others to speak the word to us. I read in Heb 1:2 (God) "Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds."
I have heard, and have had others say that a certain message the preacher spoke was especially for me or them, and though the preacher might know nothing of what we needed God did. That is the Son speaking to us through the Holy Spirit.
I have witnessed the testimony of some that supposedly directly hear the word of God speak to them; I personally haven't had that experience but His word has its effectual message delivered.
Dear Brother, I read in 1 Peter 4:12-13 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
I pray God gives you the comfort and peace to meet your need in the battle of the spirit you are in and gives you the victory in Jesus' name.
