This is a prayer request that our Lord will send the right people to resolve a situation.

What is the situation?

I have been fostering a homeless cat who needs a home of his own.

He's been with me a bit over a month. During that time, he's been neutered, given his shots, de-wormed and de-flea'd. With a regular diet, his fur has softened and he has filled out nicely. Being totally indoors, he's shed the heavy winter coat. More importantly, he knows he is loved.

I pray our Lord sends His choice of adoptive parents who will love and take great care of this cat.

I would love to have a cat but allergies forced to give up my last two. I know how attached we can become and pray for your and its sake you are comfortable with the adoption to come. Blessings in Christ Jesus.

Thank you, Brother Eugene :wave2

Am sorry to learn of the pet allergies in your household. I have 2 cats (ages 15 & 6), as well as a 7 year old dog. The 6-year-old cat is a rescue who arrived shortly before I had to put my then-14-yr-old cat down due to terminal cancer; he was supposed to be a foster pet, but ended up staying.

This current foster cat is young, only about 2 years of age. And that age definitely shows when he tries to entice the 15 year old cat to play. (She's not interested.) He is a sweetie, though.

That is truly funny. The last two I had adopted; one had to lay on my shoulders, and the other across my hands a I attempted to type on my computer keyboard. It's going to be hard to give him up I bet. :)

I'll pray. I think its wonderful of you to take the cat in and give him necessary medical care. Our cats here are outdoors. One of them used to be an indoor cat, and I kinda miss having that big, orange blob at my feet while sleeping, lol.

Anyway, I'll keep you and your pets up in prayer. :-)

Thanks, Brothers Eugene & @Christ-empowered :wave2

It may sound terrible, but I turned down to people who called about the cat. They wanted a mouser for their farms. I couldn't do that to this cat. There are far too many wild packs of dogs and coyotes out & about in the farmlands.

Over the years, my household has fostered many homeless cats, including feral kittens who settled in nicely and went on to be adopted into loving households.

It is getting more challenging to place mature cats (and dogs, for that matter). Friends of mine have a cat rescue sanctuary in another county. It used to be they would place per week 6 or 7 cats in good households; now it's only 1 or 2 per week. With more and more people turning out their cats, or taking the pets to the shelters when they can no longer afford to care for them, it's very sad.

We live in a throw-away society.

I have a good friend who their passion is to love and help them (cats). In her neighborhood there are lots of cats, and therefore LOTS of kittens. She has saved many kittens lives, but unfortunately some of the cats she rescues don't live it through. They are trying to catch through traps this big white male cat... I don't know if hes too smart to get stuck in a cage or what not. She is adopting out these kittens when they're ready, at a pet store, and have had to turn down potential adopters for various reasons. She, like you, wants to have a good home for her kitties.
So, I have an idea of what you are going through and I will pray that your kitty will find and fit the perfect home.

Thanks, Angel!

Your friend is a special person and is to commended for the work she's doing to help those felines. Not everyone can do what she's doing. I know I couldn't do it on the scale she is! One at a time now is about all I can manage, what with everything else going on.

It's going to be a wee bit rough to let this current male cat leave, even though I know it will be the best for him to have his own home. He's so loving, and when he 'talks,' his nose scrunches up so he resembles a bit that 'grumpy cat.'

He is ! He's a big cat, for being about 2 years. He weighs 15-1/2 pounds, and has thick bones. Also, his nose is 3/4's black.... really is interesting to see how the coloring didn't cover the entire nose!

WOW! That's a big cat!
Is he black and white?

He's white with dark grey spots. The vet assistant called his markings 'dramatic'. His tail has a little bit of black striping to it.

When he sleeps, he prefers to stretch out on his back, with one 'arm' placed across his eyes. It's really funny to see him like that!

Ranch mousers produce ranch mousers ... no need to use a pet kitty for ranch mousing

Precisely, reba !

Because of the way this cat took to being indoors, I believe he started out as someone's pet.

Father, we know that You know the perfect people to take this loving young man into their home, and i thank You for sending them to air dancer so that she knows that the cat will be in good hands! Thank You for protecting him in his new home, that will have lots of love and nuture. In Jesus Name, Amen.
