update on pam this is from her daughter
I received a phone call tonight from mom's Radiologist. Her phone call was to let me know some results and then some. Unfortunately mom had to go to the ER tonight due to the fact that her blood work showed her Electrolytes were dangerously low. dangerously low Electrolytes effect your muscles, your heart is a muscle. I am sure you can put the two together. So tonight she will be receiving treatment to raise those up. An over night stay or two in the hospital will more then likely happen during the treatment. Second, her white blood cells are extremely elevated. Normal white cell count is about 10,000, Moms is at 19,000. That means she has an infection somewhere. Now for the MRI results......Unfortunately the radiation has made no change in the cancerous spots or tumor that began all of this. Even more unfortunately she has new cancer tumors that have developed on the brain. Please everyone, if ever there was a time for prayers, now is that time. We thank everyone in advance. As soon as I become aware of anymore, I will let everyone know. Thank you again, and love you all.

Pray for Pam powers she is a former cancer patient . she just had a scan the other day she has tumor about a inch in size on her brain at the point where her brain and spinal cord connect. i am not big on medicine but her daughter said it is keeping fluid from draining from her Brain. no time set for surgery but she will be facing surgery to remove it. pam is a friend of mine
