we hear your voice our lord inside our hears
each night we sit and pray that all will be alright
we do not understand how you move in this cruel world
but through faith in you we hear your word
once then we see the storm of old
arriving close our shores
we clasp our hands in prayer, we bow our heads
we humble our hearts and weary we realize
the faith that kept us alive all this time
is the same powerful balm which is the healing kind
