Problems with site loading

Has anyone else noticed or experienced problems with loading and navigating the site?
I cannot get on this site using Mozilla. I have tried on three different computers at three different places.
I am using "internet explorer" right now and it is very slow if almost unresponsive.
I don't know if the programmers have changed something or not but this is so problematic that I cannot even think of using the site.
Maybe it's a problem in Canada only.. IDK.
Loading and posting this message took about 1/2 hour.
It is the only site or webpage that I am having trouble with.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Our administrators are doing a great job, but are very taxed.

I'm on Chrome and things are working well. (Which is why I use chrome, esp rather than IE. I tried Firefox for about a NY minute several years ago, but switched right back to Chrome because it was so much better)

I use Chrome as well, maybe that's currently why I'm not having any problems. *knocks on wood*

Opera is working fine for me on my Windows Vista system.

I use Chrome on mobile and it takes a long time to load sometimes. Others it's pretty fast.

come to think of it i think i had trouble on this site when i used firefox and ie

i only use chrome now - and sometimes it is slow as questdriven says and sometimes it is fast - it seems like when updates are downloading in the background it runs super slow - but when i open firefox it crashes and won't run at all during background downloads

IE... is dead, IMO... my son is in IT and says its used very little.

Chrome and Mozilla are like MAC or PC... Android or I phone... it's a personal preference.

what did you not like about chrome?

i used to use firefox exclusively until my antivirus kept reporting on ff's vulnerabilities

i asked around and everyone was recommending chrome - and i have to say it does work the best of the 3 for me

I don't think that there was anything "wrong" with it... I am just so used to the layout of Mozilla and I like the way the "bookmarks" are organized.

Mozilla still works very well for me and I am comfortable with the format...
I'm not about to change... just for one forum.

I don't think it is the case but it could feel like the forum is insisting on everyone not using Mozilla.

On another note.. Chrome isn't working well either. It will load but takes a very long time. I have it downloaded but use it rarely....

At work... I only use Chrome as the filters and administration won't allow Mozilla to update. Chrome is inhibited as well.
