Bible Study Pronunciation!

Then, almost fifty years later I'm waiting on my
First Load in thed Driver's Lounge at 3am when in pops our Imported New Hire and we are talking as everyone stared at him when he broke out in Cockney English complaining about what we have done to the perfectly good language they shipped us to the Colonies. Only then did I realize who spoke the Pooreswt Possible English and they are BOI. (Born On Island)
Ha! That's awesome. What if it was like that for Hebrew, that the poorest possible form of it is where it came from?

I can't believe that I've been pronouncing Job all these years as Job, (like a career) when it's really pronounced as Joe-b. :oops2

I would, honestly, expect the Shepherds to not fit in linguistically because as the Israelites grouped together in and closely around the cities they, like Modern Day Men, think more highly of themselves than they aught to.

In my Home State the people from the cities do things like tying Country Hicks of a different skin tone to the Trailer Hitch of their Million Dollar Pimp Mobile Pickup Truck and drag them to death. The dead man would be the same man that men of a lighter skin tone worked, side to side with for years and were, like the Shepherds of Israel were ill thought of because they did not perfume their bodies and they spoke funny. Just as it is with Farm Boys of any skin tone today.
