Protecting Kids from Porn

Just out of curiosity, what age kids are you talking about? 15 and under, up to legal adult age, etc.

the legal age to look at porn is 18. but theres no way for the porn pushers to verify the age of the person looking at thier site.

porn blocking filters work and so do some other things.

we get some here routinely that try to push porn. :mad i just banned one guy this morning.

Oh, I know. I was just wondering what age the OP was talking about.

Yes, they do for forums.

I don't understand why people do that, try to push porn or anything else on any website, but oh well.

In my house the family computer is in a "public" location, We have all the filtering one could have without limiting the ability to research certain topics like say typing in "heat wave" or whatever.

My kids are not allowed to have a TV in there room, and No cell phones. However, the cell phone thing is going to be an issue for my oldest in a few years. So far I'm thinking I can get services that is limited enough to keep them safe.
