Quality Worship.

Whatever you offer unto God, people, endeavor to offer unto HIM the best. This is what I believe.

God looks at the heart, I know. Now do not tell me because HE looks at the heart one can offer HIM anything one likes.:chin


Some years ago, some guys rendered a special number in our church. The performance was one of the worst combination of singing voices I have ever seen. It was funny when the guys said (that was, however, before their ministration): Do not listen to our voices - listen to our wording.

Our band detested this, jokingly (and of course seriously). How can God not appreciate good voice and quality sacrifice, worship etc.
(Quality worship is not just about music. Anything you do for HIM is 'worship')
Assign duties to the best.
Don't give HIM a dog's dinner.
 
There is the aspect that true worship is 'in spirit and in truth' (John 4). Some churches prefer not to have choirs at all.
 
:sing:sing:sing " You're looking into my heart....You're looking into my heart..when it's all about YOU Jesus" :sing:sing:sing :D , for me i believe that a quality worship is from the heart . God doesn't need a performer...He does not need our abilities he needs our availability.

This is exactly right. Not everyone was gifted to be an amazing singer or performer. We do the best with what He has given us, and it is the quality of the worship in our hearts that we render to him, not the actual singing, that is of worth.

Yes, 'man looketh upon the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh upon the heart'.

This thread is not all about music :dunno

Do you even know God is a lover of music? That is HIS food.

Whatever you offer unto HIM - HE deserves the best. And what do you know about the musicians in the OT? Did they make use of amature people for the work?

God looks at the heart - but some have come dangerously close to giving GOD valueless 'whatever' and are completely complacent about this.

God looks at the heart - let us get amature engineers and build HIM a Temple? What kind of people built the Temple during solomon's kingship???

Maybe I should have titled this thread: Quality Service.

What do you know about the sacrifice of a sinner?;) filthy rag? :chin

okay. God looks at the heart - HE needs the best - God is Wisdom.

Strip your self naked in the eyes of God like David did if you're looking for the quality worship! ( boldness) 2 Samuel 6:22 “I will become even more undignified than this, and I will be humiliated in my own eyes. But by these slave girls you spoke of, I will be held in honor."

Build an ark on top of the mountain like Noah did! ( obedience) Genesis 6 :22 "Noah did everything just as God commanded him.


Cross the red sea like Moses did. (faith) Exodos 14: 21-22 “Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the LORD drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided, and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left.”<O:p</O:p

Suffer and be crucified for others like Jesus did! ( love) Luke 9: 22 " And he said, "The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.<O:p</O:p


<O:p>yeah i got what you mean He deserves the best coz the Lord is most worthy among all the worthy. But you should also consider that the Lord looks at the heart above all of this ( 1 Samuel 16: 7) . Your life and how you live it is already an act of worship. </O:p

And the poor woman in the temple, who did not give as much as the wealthy did, but her offering was considered the best because she gave everything she had. If you give 100% of yourself in worship, that is acceptable before the Lord. Comparing an act of worship to engineering is like comparing apples to oranges. They're necessarily two different categories.

Let us use ratios or equivalences to do this.


100000 is a huge number and 10 is, too


If you divide each of the numbers by half the original number you will get 2??? :lol

So, the poor woman gave all she had, from her heart - she gave.

The equivalence is, that other man gave all he had.

e.g
The man gave $100000 - all he had.
The woman gave $10 - all she had.

You can see the equivalence now???

Both gave all they had - quality and sincerity.

That's ratios and equivalences:D

Both gave their best.
