Question about Faith with my Dad

My dad believes in God, Jesus was God, that It's possible Jesus died for our sins, and he resurrected.

I'm seeing repent as a way to change ones mind, change your life around by God, however.. My dad has lived his life motivated by God to do the right thing, and he hasn't repented for all the wrong things he has done. I'm confused. Repention is to live your life by God, accept him and do what he would want. If my dad hasn't said sorry for the sins he has done, hasn't he already repented by doing that?

Are you looking for an apology from your dad? How do you know he has not repented before God?

Like reba said, how do you know your dad has never repented. Did he tell you that? If your dad said it is possible, emphasis on the word possible, then that shows me maybe he really isn't sure of Christ death and resurrection. Maybe the two of you can sit down and talk about this together.
