Hi, I'm Rollo Tamasi, the self appointed leader here in the rumor dept.
Myself and my ever growing staff keep quite busy following all the rumors on the forum and checking to see if they are worthy of repeating.
It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it.
Every now and then someone asks a question, and if time permits, we give them a direct answer.

But this time we were asked a question that I felt deserved forum wide answer and open it up to discussion if anyone wanted to.
My staff and I took this question and gave it much thought before we answered it.
Not claiming to always be right, we ask you, the reading audience, to give us your answers to the question.

So here we go:

"Is the Old Testament Christian"?

We here at the rumor dept. felt this was not a trick question yet deserved a very deep answer.

So here is our answer.

No.
Christianity is not mentioned in the Old Testament and therefore is not Christian.

Thank you for your time and please stay tuned for the latest rumors.

IS the OT heathen?

Thank you Madam Reba for your question and your concern about what the answers may be.
However, here at the rumors dept., getting involved with personal issues that members may have goes in direct conflict with the by-laws of the rumor dept.
We just cannot engage in controversial matters of the Bible and still seek the best of rumors to report on.
I do hope you understand and that others will take up your challenge to find the answers in life.
God bless you and please stay tuned to the latest rumors.

I heard a rumor that Reba was running for Governor of the great state of Jefferson.

So what if I started, I heard myself say it, so there.

NO! Even the greatest of men believing in God could only rejoice at being the friend of the bridegroom; not the bride.

Joh 3:29 He (Jesus) that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend (John the Baptist) of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.

Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

You seem so angry, are you alright.

Well ok, then the spirit must be talking about someone else here.
Am I radiating feelings of finding me in winter instead of spring? 7"-14" of snow; are you kidding me?
Climate change? Our president flew his plane again contributing to this terrible condition as just described on TV. They've published messages that all schools are closed, and blizzard warnings: duh. With our present wonderful science that can even tell the age of some dumb ape somewhere from history back, why didn't they forecast this all yesterday; go ahead and just close the world. No, they now think these conditions will last throughout the afternoon.
:sorry

Come again, don't you know we already won.

Hopefully I didn't give the idea I'm mixing apples and oranges. I am fully OSAS if you're familiar with it, I believe all things work together for my good, and now reckon I need to find that perspective. I was scheduled to have my lawn fertilized, aerated, and cleaned from the autumn leftover leaves. I'm certain my lawn service sees this all as a bad omen, but then again it may produce enough grass and weeds to keep them busy working overtime. :shrug

The rumor i hear dear Sir is you are going off the deep end... Here is Jethro Bodine offering you a safety net View attachment 8537
Why are you so mean to me?
I try so hard to please you, but nothing seems to work.
I could cry.

I think the OT is Christian, it has the prophecies of Christ written all over it!

Well, about time someone spoke up.
You Diane, are a genius.
Of course the Old Testament is Christian.
Christ is simply a translation of Messiah.
The Old Testament is loaded from cover to cover with Messianic prophecies.
I was wondering how long that would get by everyone.

Today you get a big gold star.
