If someone was hired here as a Counsellor and had racial feelings, they'd better get over it dahn quick, cuz 98% of our clients are Black.

It amuses me when some Blacks want to say something about white people, whether bad or good, they"ll look at the white person in the room and apologise first, then go ahead with what they have to say.

There are no races according to the Bible. "Racist statement" is a made up term, it's not real. People like to make a big deal out of nonsense. :-?

I am ok with "people of color." I think there should be an equivalent word like Caucasian. Basically if Negroid were not an offensive word, it would work. However, since that word has too much hatred in its past, maybe a new word should be invented.

Quath

Yeah, ya gotta blame that on the evolutionists. :smt108

NO, I am not prejudice per/say! Let me explain? We have RIGHTS on the front burner continuously, huh? Is that a bad thing? NO.

We have equal rights, human rights, racial rights, women rights, homosexual right & on & on.
Now: what is my beef? It is when these 'Rights' are ALL lumped together! [Colored issues & homosexual issues] on the same 'legislative' agenda as an example. One is surely mostly right, and the other 'open one' has past laws to deal with that of [open] homsexual law breaking.

And yes, I left one right out until now, huh? that of Religous Freedon as a right. (you know, hate laws & censorship)
Now, once more.. can Christians keep any of these above rights 'yoked together' when passing legislation? Yet, most professed Christian's are as silent as the dead.

So true. What's to stop "murderers' rights" within the next Xteenth years from ever occuring? How far will we go?

("How dare you discriminate against me because I just happen to want to kill people!?! I can't help it; & that makes you intolerant!")

Black children in my day, were also taught to be racists towards white people in general and even towards black, towards ourselves. Do you know how many years it took for me to even entertain the possibility that Jesus was a person of color? The "white is right" syndrome was so engrained in our minds through TV, Sally, Dick, and Jane books, magazines, white clubs, ect. So it has taken a very long time to deal with and overcome this mentality. God bless.

Amen Shana! Jesus wasn't a brown-haired, blue-eyed white dude... But He isn't a black man either. When we see Jesus He'll look like a Jewish man *shock of shocks!* Guess what? He is. Doesn't it seem like we as humans have tried to make God into our own images?

Good point. Reminds me of all the artists of yesteryear who try to make Him out to look "European". All but maybe one...Rembrandt. He gave his 'Biblical' characters a very "Jewish" look. He understood the inportance of portraying a culture and its in context.

I think Jesus will shine to much to be able to tell what colour (with a u for those who arent americans lol :D ) he is. However I agree we always picture people weve never seen in a certain way, I used to think of santa being black. LOL :D

As much as i hate to admit it Jim crow law isjust as much to blame if not more then evolution.

Da 10:6 His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.

We see that Jesus has a green body!

I have a few friends who post on line who are called liars when they let people know that they are Native American. It seems that a lot of people believe that N.A.'s (for short) do not have the gumption to attend university, or learn another language than English and Spanish(which for some reason, and I don't know why, people think is the N.A.'s triabal tongue...)

However, I have yet to hear them reply in any situation, "Its because I'm Indian, right?"

LOL i feal the pain some people seem to think that because I'm black My dad who is white isnt really my dad. Every day i get ppl asking me are you sure hes your dad i mean hes pale as and your black as midnight (hope no one took offense to that) Some people just dont think about what they say.

daniel 10 v6 also shows how he had feet the colour (with a u) of polished brass. Could we have A green body with brown feet? Also his head and his hairs was like wool, as white as snow (rev 1v14) and eyes a flame of fire hmmmmmm now we have a green body broze feet white hair and red eyes LOL can anyone find any other scriptures describing him I'm gunna try and draw this.... :-D

1 Peter 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

1 Peter 1:8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

We haven't a clue as to what Christ looked like.

No information is given.

"The trial of our faith"

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

I laugh at this speculation.

Ha, Ha

Jesus could have been of any stature or complexion. Jews range in skin pigmentation as much if not more than any group on earth.

Don't let liberal bias give you the idea that Jesus was necessarily of dark or light skin.

King David is described in this manner.

1 Samuel 17:42 And when the Philistine looked about, and saw David, he disdained him: for he was but a youth, and ruddy, and of a fair countenance.

132. 'admoniy
Search for H132 in KJVSL
ynmda 'admoniy ad-mo-nee'

or (fully) admowniy {ad-mo-nee'}; from 119; reddish (of the hair or the complexion):--red, ruddy.
See Hebrew 119

The reason no one knows what Jesus looked like is so we would not make images of Him and fall into idolatry.

Jesus was God.

Just look at the bizzare avatars and pictures people claim to be Jesus.

I personally do not believe Jesus had long hair.

Especially hair like a woman.

1 Corinthians 11:14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
