[__ Prayer __] Raise a pension for the Navy Seal who killed Osama bin Laden

He is already in my prayers, along with the rest of the still-living team who had the task of going into that compound.

On a side note: prayers are requested for the surviving victims of the Ft. Hood massacre. They have been left out to dry as well.

Thank you for your reply. Thank you also for the information concerning the Ft. Hood people. God bless you.

You're welcome, TessieWebb.

Sometimes, we all need reminders about others' situations in life. And as much as we support & pray for our military personnel, it's unfortunately easy to forget how reality is for our military, both active & retired. Thank you for the timely reminder!

This barely fits the thread but wanted to make sure this got posted:

ok. while I am vet, and I have my letter. he did do this to himself. he left before could he have retired. I fully understand why as sanity is needed but he mentions a disability. that is often WAY higher then any pension a retiree gets. depending on the rating.

if he is allowed this then others whom feel the same and have not earned it may feel the same. I can see that happening.

if he could tolerate it he could have went navy reserves or guard or so forth. he would face a reduction in rank but he could still get a retirement but would have to wait until 60. he would get the highest rank held at his retirement.

please understand that I am not being un caring or cold when I have posted this. I have a LOVE-HATE relationship with the military at all times and it can be love-hate or hate -love depending on what im doing and how im treating by the army.
