Rapture and Tribulation

I believe that the Bible is clear about tribulation and a rapture before the tribulation. The tribulation period is going to be very bad for Christians who would be left behind. When God has a provision for us to escape it, it makes no sense for us to lean on our own faulty understanding and not believe in that provision.

So my question is to those who believe in a post tribulation rapture. Keeping in mind that you could be placing yourself and your family at a great risk if your understanding of the rapture is incorrect, what makes you so sure that a pre-trib rapture provision does not exist?

Hi tohelp,

I agree with you on pretrib. But there will be NO Christian left behind if they believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. the rapture is completely dependent opon belief in Jesus, it is not dependent upon belief for or against the rapture.

The Christians that believe in the rapture will be busy explaining on the way up, what the heck is going on to the believer who did not believe in the rapture.

Uh, no. No offense, Jarrod, but as Paul states in 1 Corinthians 15:52, we will all be changed, in the twinkling of an eye. Therefore, all believers will have the knowledge we have only been able to speculate on in the flesh, and all of us, those who didn't embrace the Pre-Trib Rapture and those who did, will be too busy praising God to worry about what our earthly beliefs were.

I forgot that we cant be human and use a little humor. Sorry.

Their salvation was false. You can't lie to God, either you're saved or not saved. I am very illiterate when it comes to end times prophecy. If Christians have been living and dying for the past 2,000 years why suddenly do Christians think there will be a rapture in our lifetime. Help me understand.

What? Since when did our salvation hinge on whether or not we believe in the rapture?
If perfect knowledge is necessary for salvation, then the LORD GOD doomed Adam from the Beginning, in not telling him the name of the TREE of LIFE, nor that both trees in the Center of the Garden are the TREE of LIFE! Yet Adam knew enough to live a life eternal had he obeyed the Commandment.

As i believe, the rapture will occur at the end of the Trib.; for there will be many saints who shall perish during this time, even those who refuse the Mark of the Beast.

Seems about every generation believed they were the IT generation....

I'm not very knowledegable on end time prophecy, you'll have to parden me. You will have to help me understand. Why wouldn't our salvation have importance to the rapture, whether it's in our lifetime or not? Once you're saved the Bible is alive in our hearts, why wouldn't we believe all that it says. Unbelievers do not believe in a rapture, heaven or hell for that matter. Just because they don't believe doesn't mean it's not true though. Why worry about the devils plans if Jesus will come like a thief in the night for the saved in this lifetime? Rapture: Unbelievers - Not concerned with rapture, blind to prophecy / Believers in Christ - Do not have to worry

I recently read a book and saw some shows that strongly state that we are going Pretribulation. Also that many believers will be left behind because they are not putting Jesus first or things of that nature. I just hope I am ready.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. Do you have scripture that backs this up, that believers will be left behind.
Why would a believer be left behind, that doesn't make sense to me.

Guys, our salvation depends on belief in The Lord Jesus Christ. and it does not matter if we believe in the Rapture or not. we are going Because of belief in the Lord. There will not be ONE believer left behind!! I believe that there will be unbelievers who instantly believe because they had believers that told them about the rapture and believe because they disappeared.

Darn right they did. The only difference between the current generation, and the coming generation, is that we are running out of prophecy. The 1940's was big for end time prophecy, and we are bound to have another big few years.

I am on the same page with you. 1948 was a big year. And the USA has been Gods client Nation and we see a huge falling away in this country. 2 Thess 2:3

The bible disagrees with the book you read. Just because the believer mind hasn't transformed the beilever has been seated in heavenly places because they are the righteousness of Jesus Christ by faith. Ephesians 2:6

I had asked post-tribulation believers why they have that belief. Could you give me scripture references that talks about a post-trib?
