Rather than being an Atheist...

.
no the peshac is a shadow of the cross and the concept of being born again. its commanded to be done at home. either by oral traditions it was changed. jesus didn't say anything about that. a good question for stovebolts to answer.

Well, you lost me brother. I never heard of the term so googled it and it started talking about Passover.

peshac=Passover. whenever I talk about this I tend to use the Hebrew words. I haven't talked to jeff yet. the weather made it impossible for him to talk and drive safely yesterday. perhaps another day.

Has anyone here read the book "A Case For Christ" by Lee Strobel? My children and I have read it a long time ago.Lee Strobel was an atheist. His wife came to Christ. He said he hated that. They would fight about it constantly.Their marriage almost broke up.Well,he decided to go to Church with her once to see who this Jesus Christ was that his wife had fallen in love with.He is now a Christian and also is in love with Jesus :)

Kathi, I have not read it dear sister, but have heard of many such incidents over the years of spouses having a profound effect that led to salvation; some of hate, and some of curiosity. We read in 1 Cor 3:6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. When our journey begins, it may not be evident the change others observe in us as a witness that is like planting the word of testimony we profess. Hopefully in word and deed our lives shine to the glory of God and convict hearts as a testimony to them, and not against them in the day of judgment.
