Bible Study Read the Bible in a year - Want to join me?

I haven't posted here in a while but I'm keeping up as best I can. I'm in Leviticus now and I have to admit, the chapters and chapters on the rules for sacrifices is a bit like reading a terms and service agreement. Is that a terrible thing to say about God's word?

still going - same thing - if i get busy and miss i just pick up and carry on

have fun - don't worry and make it an obligation - keep it as a fun time with God

because we are seated in heavenly realms i think of me and God resting and reading together - like a Father and His child

this means i think of it as time with God rather than an obligation/duty

Thats a good point Truthfrees! I shouldn't be a chore like I'm checking off a list but something I enjoy. I read a bunch last night
praise God - amen -

i heard a preacher mike bickle say a lover can outwork a worker

which means there is something powerful about doing things with love peace joy fun rather than obligation -

love can go unlimited distances

obligation tires out real fast and fizzles

I just successfully completed the challenge today and wrote a praise report about it as well. :biggrin I'm actually ahead of schedule because I do believe that I got my Message Bible last Christmas so I've read it in less than a year. :wink
