Reduced life expectancy

It’s an issue in the USA and some other developed affluent nations. Covid played a role but some of it is related to suicide and drug overdoses. Inequality and poverty seem to contribute. So..,
Scripture says that towards the end mankind’s days will be cut short because of wickedness. I’m thinking it’s not necessarily the people who die younger or at least not just them. It’s the society itself crumbling and the suicides and overdoses are more canaries in the coal mine than anything else. And..,


A lot of covid deaths could have been prevented but the for profit healthcare system and other factors contributed to an absolute disaster. Love of money is the root of all sorts of evil..

I haven't read of a reduced life expectancy.Only that the righteous perishes before the prostitute is judged and no one takes it to heart.



Isaiah

57 The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

2 He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.

3 But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the whore.

I see now that I somehow misunderstood scripture. Sorry
But social and economic problems are making me wonder . Inequality is rampant. The very rich run the world and the rest of us just take up space lol but seriously.,,


Even once respectable middle class people are struggling mightily with basics. Factor in growing poverty and an increasingly draconian elite..,
I dunno seems like a recipe for disaster…
