A Lab/Dachshund mix was outside the fence yesterday and some cruel ass shoved a plastic peanut butter jar onto her head. It took the wife and daughter most of the day to coach the little girl to the fence to remove the jar, get her over the wire and remove the peanut butter from her coat. So, there is a dark chocolate, long-legged, mixed up Dachshund puppy we got for free and in less than two days has cost us 200 dollars in Vet Bills. Not too bad for a free pup. Because of the Peanut Butter and the Chocolate color, her name is Reeses.

I guess we are soft hearted but why do people do these things?View attachment 9494

One of my parents' house dogs was abused hardcore during his puppy-hood. They've had him 8ish years, and he's just now learning to play and be happy.

I hope you and your family enjoy the new addition.

The evidence says not. Just twisting and tugging would not remove it. It took enough pressure to distort the mouth to squeeze her head through it. And anyway, someone drove down to the end of the street to abandon her, three-quarters of a mile down a dead end road.

She will cause Delilah to play more and live longer and she is changing from an abused attitude already. Even the Vet said she has been, severely abused from the scars and such.

She will soon sleep in my bed with me. And not be rotten!

People that cannot love any baby, are they capable of love? Believe me, before the SPCA get's 19 dollars a month, it will go to an orphanage.

Bloodlines and flood lines, both are annoying. But a good critter is tough to beat.

I have mine that is indeed alive because we love her.a few years ago she was near death. She lost blood and alot of it.prayers and blood donations and iv fluids saved my dog.of course ,if the vet didn't make a mistake this wouldnt have happened.
