I miss my companion named Luke. He was a red and tan Kelpie dog, much like this
one.
We would go walking every day, mostly to the local park. He was so smart and very affectionate. I could talk for ever about him.
One day I decided to sit on the top step, of the backdoor, to watch the world go by. Luke came up behind me and with his muzzle nudged me over to the left; then sat right next to me and leaned against my body. While we both watched the world go by there was a strong connection of love for each other.
It amazes me how some people cannot make that connection with God's creatures.
By the way, I not only talk to animals, but to insects and plants too. They all respond to love.
