Anyone seen it? What is your opinion, is it good for a Christian to watch such movies?

I already watched them... The first ones were okay, they were good, but the last one in the series (Afterlife) was the most terrible film I've ever seen this whole year... It didn't seem to have an actual storyline, just some special fx, some shooting and some mutated zombies.

It is more of an action series than horror in my opinion.

I really love Resident Evil: Apocalypse. The other two films cannot come close. I haven't seen the fourth one, but it looks kind of kitschy. I absolutely adore the fight-scenes at the end of Apocalypse, where they have to take down all the Umbrella soldiers and the two helicopters. Plus, Milla Jovovich is just ultra-sexy in the series. You cannot beat a strong-willed and deadly girl.

i wonder if she still models. and i think she is of a polish/russian jew orgins with that name.
vich is usually a yiddish thing and also polish jew.
 
Garbage in = garbage out. God tells us that we have to guard our hearts because 'they are the wellspring of life'.

I think you need to pray about it and see what God says. But I can't see him giving you the go ahead unless you're a very mature christian. Let the holy spirit guide you.

God had me off movies for about ten years, but now I've got the thumbs up again because I'm an intercessor and can pray through the spiritual garbage afterwards. But that's the only reason.

I wouldn't do it otherwise.

Let him say yes or no. Or walk around with the consequences to your faith. I've just been watching 'underworld' and the blade movies. And before that it was harry potter. People put curses on that stuff, not just innuendos about how much fun the spirit realm without God is.

I agree with you. Many Christians are not listing to Jesus at all. He said in.....

Mark 4:24 (KJV)
24 And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.

She is Ukrainian. Probably a Jewish Ukrainian.

I have 1-4, haven't watched 3/4 yet, saw 2 again tonight.
I love zombie flics, and RE is one of my favs.
..and seriously, if a zombie movie is enough to rock someones faith, then I wonder at how weak minded they are, but that's MHO...and if someone has to ask about a movie then obviously they aren't prepared for it...rent Bambi, just close your eyes at the end:)
