Thanks be to God for giving you the opportunity to take care of what's truly important. Funny how that works out huh?I retired the very end of 2016. Immediately my father in law went into hospice at home and I became the person who moved him from bed to wheelchair to toilet etc
Gave him showers, fed him.
Then in August of 2017 my wife was hit head on by a fellow on heroin and put into intensive care and eventually home in a wheelchair and then a walker. Now she is walking finally. I was the housekeeper and gave her her baths sitting on a bench across the bathtub.
Anyway I haven't had to think what to do in retirement yet.
I'll bet your wife admires you for how well you are taking care of her. By chance, do you feel your relationship with her has deepened?
