Revelation 20:12 & the Year 20:12

Sinthesis, during my studies, I come to find there is either little or no thought put into what exactly takes place during the Millennium. I tend to agree with your line of thought. I still ponder over why Rev 20:15 says "whosoever", instead of clearly stating that all who are among the risen dead are not in the Book of Life.

Actually, Rev 20:15trips up a lot of people; some say the ones thrown into the Lake are there for eternity; same say for just a time and are then annihilated; some say the Lake is for purification are are then saved. :confused The last view is that of many UR'ists and one I don't agree with at all.

I believe there will be two raptures the early rapture which are the first fruits and than the latter which will be the harvest of 144,000 with all who got saved at the tribulation.

Hmmmmm.....

1 Corinthians 15:23 But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ.

I don't know anything about raptures; the word is not found in the Bible. But I do know that Christ is the first fruits of the resurrection as Paul stated in the forgoing passage, and that took place about 2000 years ago.

Yes you are right, the word rapture is not found in the Bible, but caught up is-
1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

I believe that there will be three raptures one in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 two in Revelation 14:1 and three in Revelation 14:14.

The 1 Thessalonians rapture will happen mid way through the tribulation. The second half way through the last part of the three and a half yeas and the third one almost toward the end.

Then it really gets ugly from there on. God’s cup of wrath is poured full strength on the ungodly, and instead of repenting of their sin, they curse God. How sad and awful for those who do not repent.

Is it mere coincidence that the Scripture Revelation 20:12 and the Year 2012, both are about the end. Will the event in Revelation 20:12 occur on the year 20:12.
Revelation 20:12 (And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.)

And if there is a thread in this forum that talks about the possibility that Obama might be the Antichrist, would some one please provide a link.

This foreshadows the first resurrection at the beginning of the millenium. This time He comes from above. ''And the Lord Himself shall come down from Heaven....''

If you see Ezekiel 38 occur, you just might be in trouble. If you have really read Ezekiel 38 & 39, and can see anything other than a Jewish prospective of Armageddon, you are hung up with the "left behind" crowd.

The events that occur with this battle, cannot occur with any other than Earths final battle. None of the students of the Bible prior to today, saw it as anything else, and I do not either.

Will the event in Revelation 20:12 occur on the year 20:12?

Hmmm. Maybe we could check out Revelation 20:8 and see whether that happened in 2008.

and [Satan] will come out to deceive the nations which are at the four corners of the earth, that is, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea.

I'm still confused as to why Revelation has nothing to say about any of the events that happened from 1922 until 1999. :confused
