Interesting article Ezra, homosexuality is inbred into Tahitian culture and unfortunately they are admitted and welcomed into the mainstream churches here, how sad, ...only the cults refuse to let them in.

I don't get it...are they selling out for $$$ and publicity, or is it something else, satan's pull on popular teachers to lead us all astray or something?

I don't doubt that many churches will accept gay marriage. Many churches in the 20s and 30s preached on the wonders of eugenics. Some more liberal denominations were officially pro-choice before Roe v Wade. Other churches have taken The Bible's basic outline of gender roles to the (conservative) extreme, which is probably just as bad as using Jesus for left wing purposes.

Sexual sin is not looked at kindly in The Bible. David suffered mightily for adultery. The woman caught in adultery was almost stoned to death, and Jesus sent her away with the admonition to "sin no more." In the NT, the sexually immoral (including homosexuals) are included amongst those who have been "washed and made clean." Personally, as a former flamer, I find that part of the NT to be much more "affirming" than the stuff Rob Bell is selling.

At one time I would have agreed, but after listening to some Christian rap songs I liked it. But again, that's some. I used to hate rap. And I still don't like secular rap. I think it's moreso the lyrics and word play.
