Ah...you're evolving in your interest over time, are you?
3 years ago my interest was primarily ww2 history of vero.now it's also including homes,hotels,old trails,graves of my county,50s era gas stations,motels,cars are recent.
 
Map noting the Capron trail. Ft pierce isnt far from me .that ruins is about 5 miles south as the birds fly. Cypress swamps.about right.

Certainly not the case now.where in the state is that?
 
I was looking at this area to find a street long gone. I uses this and the drive inn to verify the tracks in the topo.the old road parrellels the tracks .it was hard to tell the two apart.
