Route pics

Interesting, I was with my wife and teaching her how to use my camera.she didn't like to photo buildings so I plan to find a nature trail.we went to a
W young park to eat and I pointed out things to photo.I have a few palms to post from that and the Alma Lee loy bridge ,big blue will be next.I had to rush home and didn't have the chance.funny you should say that as I was telling her that buildings tell stories.

In time, there will be a building that will 'speak' to your wife and she'll snap a photo or three of it. From then on, she'll make a point of discussing the buildings she'll photograph that have 'spoken' or smiled. And she'll have her own building stories to share!

She Should see it,surely she must see her influence on me .the earth tone and spanish edifice influence. While those have always been a love to a degree.ah I must photo the royal viking apartments again.

She will :thumbsup

You might take your wife to photograph the Royal Viking Apartments.... see what sort of eye she has for the place.

Out of curiosity, what led you to think that perhaps it was haunted?

Age,sense of a building not wanting to be what it is now.it's a pre ww2 building I found it In a 1943 topo and use it to find the other known old homes of the time.I verify by using an easily spotted object.the roof is easy to see.the one apartment way top shows up as a tiny square on top of the roof.I was telling my wife about the home that she asked me about near the old diesel plant.it's nit far at all when I took pics of the crank case I had to walk past it.I used it to verify the water tower location .that's how I know it was different since my memory recalls the tower away from the plant b
Not butted up to it.12th ct in the 30s didn't exist.

That's sad that the building doesn't want to be what it is now.

A brownstone I bought to rehab didn't want to remain split into apartments. That was fine with me .... I saw it as a single family structure with lots of great features!

this was a hotel, I will work in a photo she beacons. I was in the arts district. I wish I could take more photos. three studios are open. one of them is in the very home used to demonstrate what a bungalow is!

those are heart shaped murals based on the murals of the artist who made them. he lost his studio and these were salvaged and made into a heart to symbolize a beginning. a night they project a heart into the ground.

Those are heart-shaped? They look a bit square to me...........

ah the diesel plant. what an enigma. I do wonder if they ever raze big blue or hopefully reuse it that they will find stuff long buried. it might make a great marina. an interesting hotel. a concrete platform buried under neat the other concrete. I wonder if that was the early power plant foundation.

Lovely!

As long as the waters don't rise much...that house is situated wonderfully!
the river has not flooded the fingers, this is the area where jaci was in that video and also where I was trying to talk my wife to finding things to photo. I took this one, it leant to be a great post card photo. I have that water view as well. If I don't post a lot of photos first on the imgur site they aren't too happy if I post as I do here. so that is why I wait .

I agree the photo would indeed make a great post card scene!

Not familiar with imgur (other than what was posted in that thread) .... seems they shouldn't be so picky about the number of pictures :shrug
