Rude or Authoritative?

Not rude! They were being authoritative. Daniel 3

Daniel 3:16 NKJV
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.

I love such a courage. I love it when we defend our Faith, and exalting the name of our God.

How many of us can stand before a president, e.g, President Obama, and call him by his name, no titles and nothing, and say:
'We won't do it'...

I didn't say we shouldn't respect our leaders (we musn't do what they say - if that makes us sin against our God). But, I have never seen such a courage...
These three are fantastic, not afraid of death...

I don't think it was rude at all.

They didn't want to go into the king's presence. (Unlike some evangelical leaders who seem to love the limelight, by the amount of their photo opportunities with powerful politicians).

Instead they were compelled to be before the king and he had to realize that he was wrongfully trying to force their conscience.
