Sad it all is, and the love dosen't feel real

I was listening to spirituals today, and through this I've noticed that throughout history people have called out and wanted peace and love. Some times I lie awake at night and wonder if we can ever be able to love each other as we wish we could. When will the fighting stop and we can hold each other and know that no man or women deserves the horrors of this world and be able to say we love each other.

I admit I sometime burst out in complete tears when I see how much we can hate and destroy each other, and to watch so many call out in pain saddens me.

It makes me wonder if there truely is love out there, or if may we truely are alone and all we have is each other, and our fight dose nothing more but keep us in our lonelyness. Just so we don't have to admit that we all do hurt sometimes and need just the taddest bit of embrace from our brothers and sisters.

We shouldn't be pushing each other away, but finding a way to love one another, but I don't think that will ever happen.

Sadly enough, Jesus told us that it will be this way.
(Mat 24:12) And because lawlessness shall have been multiplied, the love of the many will grow cold.

The hatred then men feel in general will be done away with upon the return of christ, completley. This is the hope of all christains. That is why in Revalation, John says after the judgments that even so come Lord. He didnt want the sinners to be judged, but the only way was to have true peace on the earth was to have the judgments carried out.

Lance,

While you and I may not always agree, I do hope I have never made you feel as though I might hate you on account of it. Rudeness, slander, and the like are truly becoming all the more popular actions now days as well as practices. That I will not deny....it is sad....even sickening.

We can hope and pray for change... God is needed for anything to truly happen. So until we place our trust and faith fully in Him....we may not see a great amount happen for the better.

Can relate to what you are saying sometimes just seeing some of the things that go on here and elsewhere has brought me to tears...if not, truly made me feel like others or myself are not welcome.
Instead of spreading hate, love should indeed be the focus. Does that mean honesty needs to vanish? No....but the truth does not have to come out in a way that is meant to sound degrading to others, no?

May God Bless You

Danielle

I wrote that last night when I was feeling really down. My mind dwells in that realm allot, but it is also my inspiration.

I don't let myself get depress that often and I avoid drinking because of my depression fits, but at the same time when I come out of it, I feel renewed and a new hope for the world. Forst statisticly speaking, If that is how I and few others on this board feels. It underlines hope that one day something might tip the scales and somthing will happen.

Oh yeah, I feel zen today.

I still see alot of love in this world. Look at families going through hard times, churches, Haiti, lots of love there. Even when someone on a message board is going through a hard time, people who love come to the rescue with prayer and love. :)

I see a lot of love, too.

Gee...I see both. :confused

Keep our eyes fixed upon Jesus....that's the answer. :amen
