searching for a date?

I have a question for anyone out there that might know, I am 24, single, and am not liking the single life, bieng single has really brought me back to enjoying seeking after god and reading my bible, i cant seem to read enough. i havnt been on fire for a while.

I would like to start dating, maybe not today but soon, I dont want to date someone who is not a christian , tried that and didnt like the results, I dont want to meet a girl from my church because I dont want to go to church for the wrong reasons, not that it would effect my relationship, buts lets just be safe, huh.

so my question is, where can I met a godly woman, outside of church :help

If nobody knows that is ok, my God is a big God, and he will provide in the time of need. But thank you anyway, I always appretiate any information

Church sounds like it should be your first choice. If you definitely will not change your standard then somewhere like this forum is a good choice. Using the internet is tricky because many people are not what they present. This is a huge problem I found with dating sites (even the Christian ones). At least at a place like this forum you can get inside her head by reading all that she has to say etc. Then there's no pretense of her putting on a show like most people do on dating sites-listing likes, dislikes or their favorite activity.
Meetup.com might have a Christian singles meet up. Perhaps a Bible study group? But that's crossing into your standard.
I don't think it's impossible to stay focused on praise while keeping your eye open for possible candidates. It's your best choice-when the goal is to meet a genuine Christian.

thats true, I will just have to pray that god will open my eyes to his will, in this situation, and pray that he puts a big sign above her with an arrow saying this is the One. but a bible study now thats a good idea,

There are Christian dating sites,
But I dont think church would be a bad place either to be honest

I know exactly how you feel about searching for a date. I have the same situation, also, don't want to date a non christian, and if I may give you some advice, maybe Christian festivals would be a good idea to try, although you never know what will happen the next day. Maybe you will meet you woman somewhere on the street, in the park, i think you should be the way you are, and let God decide when, and where

sorry to hear that your in the same boat as me, but i quess it could be worse, maybe thats is just gods way of keeping us on our toes. i have never heard of any christian festivals around my area, so ill have to keep my ear to the ground and see what comes up.

Hello,i am also in a similar situation but i would advise that the church would be a better place..i am also looking for a christian date..she should be God fearing and born again...i love God and would love to meet someone that does too..

A lot of us are in the same situation. Lets just pray to God with our concerns and ask him that we may not pass up that special person and that in his timing, not our own.... his will, not our own.. that all things may work out. I believe there may not be a place that is limited to you meeting her if God ordains it.
