Does the Lord want all Christians to possess all knowledge as soon as we give ourselves over to Jesus, or is there some knowledge he hides from us until we become more fully mature?

Only God is all knowing. Even with the highest education and IQ in the world, there's no way one can acquire all knowledge.

Also, this is true:

The more wisdom we acquire, the more powerful we become. The Lord doesn’t want immature people to possess a lot of power. Yes?

I think there is something to be said about the fact that God wouldn't want immature people to possess a lot of power.

However, it should be noted that even after we are resurrected, perfected and living in eternity... we shall still never possess all knowledge.

As Tina said, only God is all knowing.

I can't imagine we will ever be equal with the Lord.

There are a lot of answers to this question.
One is........"In Jesus are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge".
Now isnt this interesting?
It is, because, "as he is so we are in this world".
It is because, we are "in Christ".
It is because, He lives in us.
So, everything that is available to him, is in us., tho it becomes progressively activated in us only as we become less of ourselves and he becomes more and more the real us.
Or as Paul said........"i die daily", or...."it is not me that liveth but Christ that liveth in me".......or...."i count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom i have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung...., that i may win Christ..".
That's the trick., and that takes all our devotion to complete until each believer finally grows up into "the full stature of Christ"
Its a continual and continuing process that is sometimes painful, sometimes joyful, but always worthwhile.
