Self Assurance Doctrines

grace2

There are many man-made doctrines taught by trin churches such as:

"I am saved already so I cannot be judged."

"I am born again because Jesus says so."

Those doctrines are all out-of-context doctrines against Jesus' word.

This is a gross teaching against Jesus' word of "If you love Me, keep my commandment."

There are so many similar excuses to justify their claims.

And Matthew 7:21
True and False Disciples
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of
heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

Jesus also says "If you are not born again, you will not inherit eternal life".

Jesus also commands to us "Make every effort to enter into narrow Gate."

How can you be so sure that Jesus will not tell you so and tell you that you are not born again?

Or He may tell us that we are lukewarm believers.

Can you honestly say that you are not a lukewarm believer?

Self-assuring doctrines are usurping Jesus' authority. No one can judge our salvation except Jesus.

Peter also claims that we all will be judged.

1 Peter 4:17
For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

Peter also claims that we all will be judged.

1 Peter 4:17
For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?
Peter also "said"..."Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:" (2 Peter 1:10)
And..."The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:" (2 Petr 2:9)
And..."Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless." (2 Peter 3:14)

Our eventual salvation is in our own hands.
Our own hands are, since rebirth from God's seed, His hands.
Plus He has given the gift of the Holy Ghost to those who truly have turned from sin.
That, along with the promise that we will never be tempted above that which we are able to handle, (1 Cor 10:13), why can't we say where we are at in relation to God at all times?
I'ld much rather be assured than doubtful about where I stand with Jesus.

All your verses do not give you self-assurance.

All Peter is saying is to do your best to be faithful.

Self-assurance is an arrogant attitude that is against Jesus' teaching of humility.

Humility is a must in His followers' virtue.

That is what I mean by "our salvation is in our own hands".
We have to adhere to all we are taught in order to find our names in the book of life on the last day.
But won't we know if we have or have not?
I think we do.

If our humility is to the Lord, why can't we be assured of that?
Have you no confidence in your own status with God?

So nobody notices the two nicknames, grace2 and hopeful 2, are so very similar, and they joined within two days of each other recently.

They conveniently talk together at the same times.

They both have been with 6000 plus posts with a recent deleted nickname, or another information is 20 years forum experience ?

The first anyone can notice is your agenda, is about Trinity churches.

The next that is missing is any teaching at all from Jesus about the Kingdom of Heaven.

The nearest you got was about the narrow gate, but only because you are using the words of, make every effort.

How about the words that are against exaltation, do they not speak better for you, and they are the saving of the soul, or the judgment of the world of the wicked.

Luke 14:7 And he put forth a parable to those which were bidden, when he marked how they chose out the chief rooms; saying unto them.
8 When thou art bidden of any man to a wedding, sit not down in the highest room; lest a more honourable man than thou be bidden of him;
9 And he that bade thee and him come and say to thee, Give this man place; and thou begin with shame to take the lowest room.
10 But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee.
11 For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

But you are showing all reading, you do not care about what Peter has reminded us to believe in and therefore do.

It is kindness and charity.

Now, men see kindness as being a lover of their own self, lovers of pleasures, having pleasure in unrighteousness.

Charity, seeks not her own, is not puffed up. ( 1 Corinthians 13:5.)

Now, here is time to not pay attention. ( for those with no faith)

What is not of faith is sin, sin is being damned.

Men are lovers of their own selves, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God. ( having a form of godliness.)

They are all damned who believe not the truth, ( what is not of faith is sin/damned.)

Charity believes all things. To believe in charity means we are not barren/unfruitful in the knowledge of Christ that saves. ( charity is not puffed up/seeks not her own.)

But they shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, ( who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.) as they count it pleasure to riot in the day time, sporting themselves with their own deceivings, while they feast with you.

Romans 14:23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

1 Corinthians 13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

2 Timothy 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

2 Thessalonians 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

2 Peter 1:7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 2:13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;

Self-assurance is an arrogant attitude that is against Jesus' teaching of humility.

Peter is teaching the truth of salvation, but it is hidden from those who do not believe in it.

We trust in God after we hear the word of truth, the gospel of our salvation, believing in Jesus Christ.

Our hearts are knit together in love, ( charity seeks not her own, is not puffed up.) unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, ( this is faith) to the acknowledging of the mystery of God, of the Father and of Christ.

God has chosen us to salvation through sanctification of the spirit and belief of the truth. ( not being a lover of our own selves.)

Drawing near to God with full assurance of faith, our hearts sprinkled ( by the blood of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour) from an evil conscience, ( the good conscience is belief that Christ is risen from the dead, which saves us from unbelief/.sin.) and washed with pure water is that same baptism of fire/faith, to wash away all doubt and cleanse us.

Matthew 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Colossians 2:2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;

2 Thessalonians 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

Hebrews 6:11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:

Hebrews 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

1 Peter 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

13Those who have served well gain an excellent standing and great assurance in their faith in Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 3:13

Assurance of salvation is an entirely Biblical concept.
Nope, self-assurance is an arrogant attitude and usurping Jesus' authority.

The first anyone can notice is your agenda, is about Trinity churches.
My agenda is my mission for the whole Truth of Jesus' gospel.

Yes, it is mostly against trin church's gross misrepresentation of Jesus' Gospel.

It is so sad that you have been giving everyone admonishments yet doesn't have much insight into Jesus' Gospel.

blessings.

My agenda is my mission for the whole Truth of Jesus' gospel.

Yes, it is mostly against trin church's gross misrepresentation of Jesus' Gospel.
What gross misrepresentation of Jesus's gospel? The whole truth of the gospel is that there is assurance of salvation. If there is no assurance of salvation, then how is the gospel good news? The gospel itself tells us that we can be truly saved and have assurance that on the last day we will be raised to life with God.

Rom 8:14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
Rom 8:15 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”
Rom 8:16 The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,
Rom 8:17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him. (ESV)

Eph 2:4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us,
Eph 2:5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved
Eph 2:6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
Eph 2:7 so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
Eph 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,
Eph 2:9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. (ESV)

Col 1:21 And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds,
Col 1:22 he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him,
Col 1:23 if indeed you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard, which has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, became a minister. (ESV)

2Co 13:5 Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test! (ESV)

There is every reason for a true believer to have assurance of salvation, but that is different from those who think they're saved and are not.

First of all, God is one yet you guys changed to God is triune.

Second, there are too many man-made doctrines such as self-assurance.

those are gross misrepresentations of God and Jesus' word.

good day.

Nope, self-assurance is an arrogant attitude and usurping Jesus' authority.
Our assurance of salvation is told to us in the bible , so our self will know .
1John5
12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

And Jesus in John5 .
24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Agreed, even with all your additions to scripture.
