[__ Prayer __] Severe anxiety/panic/fear/paranoia

I am so scared right now of one of the narcissists who abused me will come after me. I am terribly, terribly scared of what he might do to me and/or my reputation. I just got back on my feet with a new job, a better temperament, people at Church are good to me, my grandparents look after me, but I'm still terrified. Please pray that evil won't befall me and that the bad guys will leave me alone. PLEASE pray!!!

Dear Father, please protect Sister AngelsAmongstUs, and give her the peace to know You are with her as that of a shield. Increase her faith and produce a joy that overcomes any fear that may present itself. Thank You Father, and I ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

I don't have anything to add to Eugene's prayer. Praying for you and thinking of you. I imagine this is difficult. Please feel free to come here to the forum with your needs, fears, etc...I certainly do, lol.

Don't be afraid of success. An atheist one time gave me a good piece of advice. I was deeply worried about a situation at work and he said " well, its been my experience that things never go as well as hoped but also never as bad as feared. Things usually fall somewhere in the middle. So don't worry too much about it"..........that was almost 20 years ago and it still helps me at times. My hunch is you will be fine. The Lord brought you where you are for a reason. Not to be tortured with fear.

When I get paranoid I pray and then I distract myself as best I can. I get bursts of what you are going through- it will pass, it really will. Don't give up and do your best. God will meet you halfway.
