Sexual Sin

Living in sexual purity is all about choosing and making a decision for yourself and God. You chose and made your decision to pick a date to stop your addiction of whatever it is. If you have a date set, it's a LOT easier. That's what I did with smoking on 1/1/10. New Years Day is a great day to walk away from sins, because you're going through all the seasons and holidays with a clean start.

Saturday? Yes: it won't be long...and we'd go into the 'world'. Kind of scary...

Of course God hates adultery. But be careful to judge!

Very good advice. And just another reason to make sure you understand exactly what a sin actually is before you judge someone. I've seen people accused of both adultery and fornication just for kissing!

So is polygamy sin?

David had 300 wives didn't he?

Quote me after waiting and now I have to go back and see what I typed.

To have the office of a Bishop, we are to have only "one" wife. From reading and What Jesus taught I believe the whole NT concept is "ONE" spouse. As for it being sin?

Deu 17:17 Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold.

It was one man and one wife. God did not make Adam and Eve with Susan also. It was never a accepted concept for God, but that He allowed because of the hardness of man's heart. All accounts in the bible where Polygamy was practiced did not end well. From Solomon, David and so on.

Jesus said if you Marry someone without that certificate of divorcement and just put away instead, is Adultery. I think Jesus makes it pretty clear about Marriage, then adding to the Wife pool.

Mike.
