share a pic or two!

I think standard accustic playing is way harder than playing electric guitar. I mean i sound terrible playing an accustic guitar, but all i need to do is go on an electric guitar and pump some distortion and one strum of a basic chord and let it ring out and i sound like a rockstar.

hope you like open G and tossing out
lol! I have a friend that plays standup bass and she plays open g all the time! I honestly can’t remember the last time I played an open g! I’ll play the g on the 4th string during the chorus but mostly I play the g on the 3rd string. On rare occasions I’ll play it on the 2nd string.

Dingwall makes a 6 six string bass that can be tuned to G0. More vibe than sound at that pitch. *watches my waist jiggle*

Get that wall of marshals and an E5 on a Les Paul and you have about 90% of 70s rock. :p

I've always wanted a V. I absolutely love this design. There's a black version that has Fishman pickups as well.

FIrst chord i ever learn was the standard A major using 3 fingers. Now im just lazy and just bar the bottom strings with 1 finger its easier and close enough. Lol. I call it the lazy A. Becayse its not perfect it probably has a technicial name like A add 7 major 6 sus 4 diminised 8th sharp note or something. Lol.

First chord I learned was C. A was like 4th or 5th. I still make it with 3 fingers (like the D form) but have made it on occasion as you state. Barre at the 2nd fret gives the regular A plus an F# on the E string. That would make it an A 6th.

BTW, the Beatles LOVED to use 6th chords, especially in their early work.

I really enjoy this thing call "picrew". If you ever used to play with online "doll maker" games in the 2000's, it's similar to that. You use someone elses' art to create a character.

Here's one I did recently:
