Are you returning to the forum after a brief hiatus as a re-incarnated Dave Slayer? :chin It sounds like you're getting questions from the same book.

Everyone who says Lord, Lord does not belong to Him...everyone claiming Christianity is not a Christian. We have to test everything we are told against scriptures. Unfortunately a lot of pimps and money changers run the churches we 'think' are teaching us truth. How else will someone understand they've been taught a lie unless they run have conversations/debates with a Chrisitan (studying to shew themselves aproved) who can show them otherwise.

yes, but sometimes we get heated and need to back off. I see some of this forum who have some unusual, almost herectical beliefs. We need to pray for them and ourselves and check our hearts ere responding or posting

Should Paul NOT have disagreed with Peter?

It is scriptural for us to both commune together and 'reason' together. We are after all, individual members of a body. And not all have the same talents or gifts.

Debate is a strong word but when appropriate, yes. I think discussing the issues we disagree on should be the preference.

Good point. And seeing that Paul felt strongly enough to oppose Peter 'to his face', Id think that we are probably not doing any wrong in correcting those who are as out of line as Peter was.
