Should christians rely on big government

I know we have people on this forum who live in other countries than the U.S. Some dont understand why (some)americans are relucant to accept any socialized system. I dont think we as christians should put all our trust in the big government. I will post a link on the pending bankruptcy of medicare/medicaid and social securtiy to point out why those programs are failing( basically cause our government won't stop taking money from them). Medicare will be operating in the red in two years and social security will be operated in the red by 2041. I dont anticipate social security being there for me unless its fixed. Nick, you asked my opinion on why social democracry dont work , here's your chance to see why, escpecially in america.
