Should Christians watch American Pie? I watched it once and found it to be disturbing.

NO!

It's worse than explicit pornography. It's disgusting and revolting.

Haven't seen it but from what I've heard about it, I'd say no.

Anyone seen Borat or Bruno? Should Christians watch those as well?

no, way to vulgar for me bruno seems to support the former lifestyle is was in and no

Yeah, Bruno is definitely gay. But I think I might watch :shame

Other than being homosexual, I don't see anything else questionable with Bruno. OH nevermind. Sascha was naked on the cover of Men's GQ last month! UGH
So does this mean I shouldn't watch?? :help

Seems every movie these days has a sex scene. I don't think Bruno will. I'd prefer a movie with fun and games than a gory or sex filled one, any day. But he is very scantily clad in all the ads.

I am soooo careful about the movies I watch now.. but I just go by the convictions of my heart..

like I will be watching a movie that I have owned forever..example) Collateral, Boondock Saints, etc..
and before I was a Christian.. it seemed like there was nothing wrong with it..

but now, I will be watching it and my heart will convict me and I will just realize all the 'little' stuff now that I didnt realize before I got saved

That is so true Kimberly. It happens to me WAAAAY TOO MUCH...tells you how much evil there is in the world POUNDING trying to get in. I just ignore it most times...Maybe that's why I had no idea what movie Dave was speaking about.

I'm not too interested in watching Bruno anyway, but I've heard good things about Borat, but heard it's pretty disgusting. :chin

Borat was meant to be a satire/shock comedy to get people to realize how ignorant we can be about the very world we live in.

It was funny, but I wouldn't watch it again since the shock isn't there and there really isn't much to think about.

Witch is why I'm avoiding Bruno. It just looks like Borat, but from a gay celebrity's point of view.

I don't mind gay humor. I just abhore steriotypical extreme 2d humor. Right now the community is fighting to for civil unions, adoption, blood donations, and being seen as actual people and not as destroyers of all that is American.

This movie is going to do so much damage to the community its not even funny. Its just like how after Borat, there were people who thought it was an actual representative of Kazakhstan. :bigfrown

Bruno was horrible. Don't watch it. Don't give them your money. Get a bootleg dvd if you want to inquire why I think it is the most evil movie ever.
