Should this kind of sports be discouraged?

I just want to know about your opinions or "what's your say" about sports which deals on physical fighting like boxing, wrestling, kick-boxing,etc. For it doesn't sound pleasant in terms of faith when we heard/talk about 'fighting', especially physically. I have not involved myself in these activities, but, I think, these sports would provoke anger, vengeance, etc. to one another who are involved. And to simply say this point: you hurt people, you hurt one another. Should this be discouraged? Encouraged? For what reasons? I know these things become pleasure for many people whole world, but in terms of faith, I think, pleasure should be disregarded. But anyway, I'm still also confused about the lawfulness or unlawfulness of this thing. Just curious, and eager to know the truth through a fruitful discussion.

[Sorry, the title should be," Should these kind of sports be discouraged?", I think,'m just ugly on grammars]

no, if thats the case . hockey and soccer and football should be illegal. many of hockey games often end up in fights tween the players. believe it or not there are rules in mma. and boxing and kickboxing to ensure a 'fair" fight. i train in bjj and wont fight for the reason of i like my body to work when i hit 60.

if you feel its sin then dont do it.

The problem have with them (apart from the fact that is it beating each other up) is that there are many unregulated ''underground'' boxing clubs etc, that have people fighting with less/ no rules and they can often end up seriously injured - i have even heard of young children fighting in them.

Obviously this isn't boxing in controlled environments - and if it is regulated it will mostly avoid serious injury. I don't like it anyhow; I hate physical violence in any form, but it is a persons choice and I would rather this be official than people organising 'fight clubs' where it can get frighteningly out of hand.

I think the people who do this - tend to stick with that only, and will not go out and and start practicing it on the general public.

Even in other sports things can get too aggressive and physical - it happens in any kind of competition. I have never really thought about wanting it banned - I wouldn't want my family to be involved in any fighting sport, but it has been around for centuries - the Romans etc.

yes, the underground movement. sadly even make it illegal to do mma wont stop that. yes its illegal even now, but once taught you cant control what the person does with that stuff.

even karate has had that in japan, for yrs that was illegal in japan, till i think the late 60's. it was only karate that was illegal as gangster did that.

i train and i dont fight with it. i do bjj as most martial arts here are pushover arts. you couldnt use them to fight out of a paper bag.

I don't think you can compare the occasional fight on a soccer field to a sport where it is your goal to either knock your oponent unconscous or hurt him so badly that he can't get up. Any sport that has epilepsy as an occupational hazard should be discouraged.
