Shut off your TV?!?!

Ah I love Stargate SG1 and Atlantis. Of course the serie push quantum physics and string theory often. But usually its good.

I never watch tv, but I do watch a lot of documentaries, series and movies. Game of thrones and the walking dead are my current favorite series. I pirate everything though, old habits die hard.

I too, use my big screen tv as a computer screen. I rarely watch tv, usually only when friends or my son comes to visit. I had cable for awhile but it was an unnecessary expense, but I like a movie once in awhile so cancelled the cable and signed up for netflix. But their library is so small for anything approaching quality that I shut it off too.

I found a couple good movies on Netflix. One called The Encounter, where Jesus ran the last chance diner and some folks got stranded during a storm. I thought that was a great movie. I had never seen The Passion of the Christ, so I pirated it to watch it. That's a very powerful movie. On TV, it almost seems like every show puts down God anymore. That's very sad.

I do the same Except I have to pay a yearly tax of $450 just for owning a TV screen I do watch alot of CBN but only thorugh their website.

Yeah, TV is used to push sexualization of children, LGBT normalization and general stupidity. Especially Disney is pushing this on children with the new reality series their showing.

Well, I did it. Called cable company and disconnected TV last night. Kept the 'net, need that for my job.

So I set up Netflix last night as well, and got that set up on my Wii so I can watch shows that way. Shows I actually want to watch. Without the inane, irritating, or insulting commercials.
