Slapped In The Church Of Scientology

That's intense. Scientologists have always freaked me out, what with their brainwashing and all. I will say, though, that their anti-psychiatry group--The Citizen's Commission on Human Rights--does a lot of good work for "mental patients."

I don't understand how Scientology is permitted to continue its evil ways. When you start to read up on the tactics they use it's downright scary, it's one of very few faiths that should be outlawed.

All this coming from a "religion" made up by a science-fiction writer who is according to Scientology, God and an aledged peadophile.

In a way it's not surprising, but as CE said, intense, and saddening.

This is the same ol story for that outfit...sicko

Neighbours had to remove all the furniture from their home, sleep on the floor the toddler also until they could 'come clean' . Give all the $$ to the 'church' so not to be materialistic...

I cant remember when this was late 60s early 70s

Handed a Scientology questionnaire in the street, I filled it in because I was interested to see how their 'psychometric test' was used. I was studying that aspect of psychology at the time and thought it may be a useful example.

Because of my studies I fully understood what my answers should have told them BUT they told me, quite falsely, that I was "suicidally depressed" and needed their help and support!

:bigfrown What a wicked way of enticing in their victims!

When I told them my psychology qualifications and politely challenged them to justify their totally unsubstantiated conclusion they ordered me off their premises and threatened to call the police.
